Welcome!

My name is Chaya Mushka Freundlich and I’m 11 almost 12. I live with my family - mother, father, sisters, Devorah (10), Chava (4) and Grunie (6 weeks) and my brother Aaron (1) - in Beijing, China. We are here as shluchim (emissaries) of the Lubavitcher Rebbe OBM.

As I am getting closer to my Bat mitzvah my parents and I have been discussing this special time in my life. It’s hard to think that by Jewish law I will be an adult! Being an adult has a lot of advantages but responsibilities as well. I have tried to think of a way that as an adult (by Jewish law at least) I can make a difference in this world!

After lots of ideas and thoughts I have decided that in honor of my bat mitzvah I will make a project that would affect me as a “bat mitzvah” (which literally means a daughter of mitzvah / good deeds) and the world around me.

I have chosen 12 mitzvot that are connected to my life and committed to them each in their own way. I am also looking for 11 other people to commit to each mitzvah so that we can add 120 new acts of goodness to the world!

That’s why I need you to help me. So look around my website and commit to a mitzvah. Fill in the form on that page and send it to me. I will upload your picture and commitment into one of the empty squares and I hope that very soon we will have filled them all!
